Lowell Area Schools Partnerships

LowellArts! manages facilities and finances for visual arts and theatre classes for youth as well as financially supporting local and regional artists as educators of these classes.  The organization is an active advocate for advancing the arts in the Lowell Area School District.  Partnerships with the schools include assisting with implementing age and curriculum appropriate artists-in-residency programs, collaborative arts programs through the Service Learning Department, student support for LowellArts! projects through the high school art department, and support for Thebes Players theatre productions through the Lowell Performing Arts Center’s staff and students (located at the high school).

LowellArts! manages several family foundations that provide scholarships to high school seniors pursuing a career in the arts.  In addition, the group provides financial support for middle and high school students attending arts summer camps.
