September 27 & 28, 2008 10 am to 5 pm on both days The Fallasburg Fall Festival is a unique event that develops the potential of an extraordinary historical setting. This annual arts festival is held in and around the pavilion area at the west end of Fallasburg Park. Spanning the Flat River between the park and Fallasburg Village is the picturesque Fallasburg Covered Bridge, erected in 1871. The Old Schoolhouse Museum, at the east end of the village, will be open during festival, and the park itself provides many picnic areas and beautiful sight-seeing opportunities. The Fallasburg Fall Festival brings in thousands of visitors from the greater Grand Rapids area and Lower Michigan. It is highly supported by the local community. The Festival features 81 exhibiting artists, musical entertainment, children’s art activities, raffle tickets for wonderful prizes, demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts, and great food. The historical atmosphere and family fun will surely draw a large crowd again this year.
